Need to change the catch can mount to metric. Also empty the catch can periodically.

But i guess more of my question is why would someone put this on a NA v6? If this was a turbo or supercharger I'd understand but this seems kinda weird... I hope the previous owner knew what they were doing lol

The previous owner definitely knew what they were doing, with regards to the catch can, but the mount.... not so much. I have a very similar can on mine and it is full with gunk every oil change. I empty it and think, glad that gunk did not have to be burned through the motor again.

I agree with this whole heartedly. Catch can was one of my first mods on my truck. IIRC the odo had less than 250 miles. Every other oil change, I dump out that soupy mess and it makes me glad that the mixture isn't blasting all over my intake manifold. Does it increase performance to a non blown motor? None that I can feel, but it does give me that peice of mind. You'll still get blowby on a NA motor and that junk has to go somewhere.

No performance gains other than knowing that junk isn't getting re-ingested, but is being collected and thrown out appropriately on my NA 1GR-FE.

Hey man, if all you need is a scrap piece of flat stock, who cares what the raw material started as. Maybe could have painted it it to hide the numbers, but that's as solid a mount as a raw piece of aluminum flat from Lowes, etc.
