Maintenance light at 30,200 miles.

Dig into the head unit settings guys.. the maintenance reminders can all be deleted and the "reminder" button unchecked!

 

Those die as soon as I get the keys. Hated those things forever.

That's one of the "Personal Reminders" on the bottom row of icons... my OVtuned easter egg for the next guy lol. Note the big assed Delete "button".

 

On my '19 the stealership set up tire rotation and oil change reminders, which I quickly deleted.

 

That doesn't stop the light the OP is talking about from popping up.

Well then like I said it's either a '16 vs later models difference or a Canadian market difference.

No lights ever showed on my '16. Ever.

 

IDK, on my 2016, I have it completely cleared on the settings, and the dummy light still comes up.

 

Then it must be a thing.

I don't recall seeing a header for anything like that in Techstream either... interesting..

If it happens on my '19, well then it is what it is lol

 

You can also reset the light by going to reset in the center dash screen. No pushing key button on off. Just go to the message and reset maintenance

 

This is making me wonder if something is weird with mine. I haven't been able to disable it, nor reset it in there.

 

I wouldn’t think it would be. We have the same year but might be possible. I’ve done it a few times since I hit 25k and the dealer stopped doing free maintenance. That is interesting though
