Looking for a no drill skid with minimal clearance loss? RCI?

    Thanks!

Without a reroute I think they’re all the same because there needs to be spacing between the exhaust pipe and skid. That said, I have rci full skids and love them.

I have the RCI skids and the only issue I had was the exhaust rattling against the skid plate. Took care of it by wrapping the exhaust on that portion.

Get the reroute that extra clearance is a game changer also the rattles oh my the rattles.
I’m wishing I did reroute to begin with and several times that drop down has got me hung up.:annoyed:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
This^ just do it, it's much better after a reroute.

Another vote for reroute, had the standard for a year and finally drove me nuts enough to order new skids and sell the old. Buy once, cry once. Get some exhaust wrap off of Amazon and you can finish that part in 10 minutes.

I see.. thanks.. I'm afraid the reroute would void the warranty on some important components. Truck is still new with 7000 miles on it.

Nope they can't just void the warranty. The reroute would have to directly effect what broke.

I might be wrong but i think ive read the pipes on the stock exhaust is stainless steel or aluminized steel and most reroutes especially the cheaper ones are not.
