Hi! New to the forum. Hoping I can get some measurements. Can anyone tell me the distance on right and left from sway bar to mount for 95 2wd? Sway bar disconnected and trying to reconnect. Thanks so much!

Are you talking about the length of the sway bar end links?

They sells those you know, and they’re pretty cheap.

No the sway bar is disconnected completely. Just bought a $600 beater that I LOVE but my friends are fixing it up for me. It’s not been taken very good care of. The calipers and rotors were HOT. Dangerous to drive. They had gotten so hot that the metal bolts had welded to the caliper bracket. We have finally replaced the calipers, rotors, shocks but the sway bar is just hanging. Not attached. One of my friends is trying to fix this economically but is trying to find out the distance from the sway bar to the actual mount. Here’s an idea of the job. Lol. I wasn’t sure if anyone knew that the measurements. Thanks!

With a 5 lug, you need to make sure you're getting 5 lug parts. you can't just look for "2wd" parts, as there is a "2wd" that shares 4x4 parts (the 6 lug Prerunner) and then there's your 5 lug which is completely different.

I'm still not getting what you're asking. The distance from where on the swaybar, to which mount?

Have any pics of what you're talking about?

Thank you! So far it’s been okay I guess. I got the shocks for $64, the caliper for the driver side was $40, the radio $40 and various other stuff such as rotors and transmission fluid has been about $300. Got $400 in it. Spent $600 for it so about $1000. Would take days to explain what all has been done! Im trying to find a radio bezel and just not willing to pay $100 for some vents. Right now the hood won’t close. It’s ratcheted shut by previous owner busting out the grill. We are doing a hood latch now. Never seen such neglect in one little truck. Lol. Why is a radio bezel so expensive??? Crazy

Do you have a toyota wrecking yard or pick n pull type place near you?

Those places can be a godsend, and taking it out of the vehicle helps you learn how to put it back in your vehicle too.

You can ask around in the regional forums for a place, or just google it. There are several near me, and they’re always getting “new” stuff in. You just have to go lurk around and see what they got. There is also websites like carpart.com that post stuff online from wrecking yards etc...
