    Spent a couple hours this morning fulfilling my double skid plate theory. Took a few modifications but my skid plate is now 1/4" aluminum (layered). I will probably never find out if it was worth the effort but I had fun doing it and it does feel very solid. Note: This is two 1/8" OEM skid plates put together.
