    Hi all,
I’m sure this question has been asked many times, but searching this site and google turned up nothing specific.
I have a 2003 double cab trd 4x4. Just bought all four 5100s, and want to go pretty moderate-either the second or third clip up. I don’t think I’ll need to drop the diff, but what else would I need after installing? Just an alignment?

I would reconsider utilizing the "height adjustable" feature of the 5100's. The ride doesn't lend itself to be good quality when you preload coils. I would consider getting some coil springs such as Old Man Emu 883's for your double cab, they should give you 2" or so on the bottom most notch of your 5100's, and provide a good ride quality.

But to answer your question, no you shouldnt need to drop the diff with 2" of lift. An alignment should be all you need provided you dont break something during the install process.

    4 run, 2 don't
Not needed, but consider upgrading your leaf pack.

After-market leaf packs like to flex quite a bit more than stock leafs do; that's if you plan on taking advantage of your new shocks and going off-roading.

Same story regarding only alignment with the ome' s?
It's a dd/ occasional lighter off road truck, so I'm just trying to avoid potential reliability issues.
Aal' s seem pretty inexpensive, if I went with the ome's, probably just go 1" on the back?

Yes, all you should need is an alignment post lift kit. You can install a diff drop if you want, it wont hurt anything either way.

upgrade leaf back or AAL, the rear 5100s require a 1inch lift.

Might I suggest for your rear. Probably ditch the overload leaf since you're not going too high up front.
