Not really cutting corners its just using your truck as the spring compressor lol. Works like a charm too

I went into the shop last week because my right wheel bearing went out. In the process, the mechanic also noticed my OEM suspension (07 Taco) was leaking and recommended to have them replaced. I was already planning on doing that regardless but he had mentioned that there are shock sets that come with the spring already setup. He never mentioned what brand or where he could purchase. I have not found any online but maybe I am not using the right keywords for my search. Does anyone know if there are there bilstein 5100's that come with the height adjustments set and springs already installed?

Speak with Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road , Headstrong is one of the vendor that'll offer to put the coilover together for you. With 5100's you can either use an OME or Toyec coils I believe. Someone chip in if I'm wrong.

Yep. Have @HeadStrong Off-Road assemble them for you. Then the install is plug n play.
Marie is fantastic to work with and shipping is speedy.

I've tried this twice in my life (Tacoma and Camaro) and both times it was a total failure, vehicle was lifting off the stands with inches still to go. Even with spring compressors I find it sketchy as F. I'll always pay that $45 per side to take the coilover out of the box and bolt it up hassle free, it's a no brainer.

Thank you for the recommendations @TheDirtyMike and @Blue Canary we truly appreciate it. I have seen this method used several times and some work and others end up in complete failure. When/if it it fails there is potential for damage and/or injury. We do offer the strut and coil assembly service for $90 which comes as one complete bolt on unit with new coil isolator, upper and lower bushings/washers, and strut mount. Otherwise you would have to source those parts separately or retain them from your factory suspension. Which if you use factory you will now have a loose strut and coil. Should you ever need to go back to factory or want to sell your factory suspension you will new to get all new hardware to put the items together again.

Actually, I do have a question. I really don't feel I need to "lift" my truck (Although I did think about it at one time) but I do want to level it. On your website, there isn't an option for leveling, the lowest is 2" lift. Can you explain why?

That is because leveling can be different for each truck. I just sent you a PM on how to measure :)
