Here is why Midway just lost my business.

1. charges related to their screwup, without discussion, or chance to discuss. It’s amazing how vehemently they’ll defend the second amendment, but forget about the fifth.
2. Defaulting to that damn NRA round-up donation thing.
3. 3536636807643246788647 emails per week *after* repeatedly opting out of there mailing lists. It resets quarterly per their staff.
4. Gouging on shipping
5. Taxing shipping charges (ironically, that’s the tax they did collect this purchase)
6. Eliminating FFL discounts claiming they have the best prices (HA!!!)
7. Larry Potterfield, nuff said.

Yes they offered return and refund, but they will not refund the shipping charges.

If they would have emailed saying “hey, we effed up, we’ll do a second charge in 5 days, please call if you have questions.” Then had a contingency where under a threshold, they’d eat it... I’d have been fine. It’s the “oops we screwed up, so we is taking more from you” I object to.

If midway is willing to loose a customer over <$5, I am happy to oblige them

This. ^^^^ This is why I dont like most online retailers. All that makes sense, but wasn't apparent in your first post. Id probably stop shopping with them too.

 

I know for a fact that it doesn’t reset weekly. That would ruin the very concept of opting out of emails. I rarely buy from them, but I did opt out successfully a couple years ago and often forget I even have an account.

 

Might be a thing with FFL accounts? I’d opt out, next quarter I’d start getting their “we miss you” emails again.

We’ve had some. I think most of us check out postings from others to try and see what they like. First round I pawned off about six AR mag’s. It’s a great way to pass off that stuff that’s too good to give to goodwill but yet stuff you don’t really use anymore.

It was the only one they had in stock, so it wasn't intentional. I'm one of those people that doesn't care what my gear looks like, I just care how it functions. This makes it function a lot better. Glad you dig the color. Next time I hit the range, I'm going to cover that cheek rest in foam tape and get my reference points setup.

Good luck. Maybe I just got unlucky, but mine wasn't drop in. I'll need to spend a long time fixing the geometry to get it to work.
