I had access to an impact driver and a couple of large vises. This helped tremendously. You definitely want a second pair of hands. Setting the u joint caps without losing or f’ing up the bearings is tricky. Get a buddy to help you for sure. It took us two hours to complete. Good luck.

Make sure you zip tie the through bolt to the shackle or it WILL vibrate loose (Unless you tighten it like crazy but now you have a shackle that you can't break loose to actually use) and you'll lose the shackle and possibly damage someone else's vehicle.

Great improvement! How'd you do that? Beats skid plates all day long. The hitch reciever will take hits and not budge, but the electrical outlet suffers, made of plastic and low in harm's way.

Not Today but last week... put on my BAMF no hoop bumper and some LED fogs with amber covers. Need to get a 31” bar and winch but first need to swap out the springs on my coil overs for it to sit properly again. Bumper dropped the coils about an inch.

The same shit everyone else has.
I treat my lights the same way I treat my paint. Buff, polish, wax, ceramic coat, ect. They have 140k miles on them and they still look new.

Replaced my 27F OEM battery tonight with a Super Start Extreme Group Size 24F Top Post Battery Part #24REXT from O'rielly's, I paid $153.03. The new battery has more CCA and the same RC as the OEM (so I was told).

Truck had been struggling to start since last Thursday, coincidentally that was the day the wife used the truck to go to school.

They say that because some "cleaner" type waxes contain distillates that can remove the UV protection on the lense which can hasten hazing and yellowing.

Since you've already waxed them....just keep doing so on a regular basis. This will compensate for the lack of UV protection and keep your lenses clear.

But rather than use wax...try Mequires Plast-x. It's designed for plastic.

I like those head lights that was a great idea . I am not a big fan of the rack on the roof. My opinion doesn't matter as long as you like the end result. How long did it take to retrofit those headlights ?
