    its been 1/4 century since they formed
    they have a huge discography loaded with gems
    any favs? .... any duds?

    i am currently into this one while digging through the vaults and have to give it a couple repeat plays whenever it pops up, that tells me its good stuff :cool:

    I clearly remember the day at work when Dave Grohl played the acoustic version of Everlong live.

    The guy I was working with was a fan of Howard Stern, listened everyday. Someone had stopped by to discuss something work related, and we were all listening.

    This guy, who I am pretty sure never heard of Nirvana or the Foo Fighters paused after the song was over and said "that is a great song"

    Still a favorite of mine.

    The first Foo Fighters is and will always be my favorite album. Yeah Dave has done a ton of other music, but the first one just sticks with me.

    Foo fighters have always been one of my favorites. Dave is so easy to like and appreciate, and the music is so good and catchy and diverse enough to listen to over and over. And I have. Definitely the band that represents the core and soul of what ‘modern’ rock should be.

    my most listened to album is probably There is Nothing Left to Lose. That ones full of good melodies, riffs and hooks.
