doubt it. No one is going to find that hot enough for “rubbing” action.

Just swapped my stocks out for 265/70/17 Falkens and they are rubbing. Very minor, I’m guessing on the mud flap. Also have Replika sema wheels with a +5mm offset which could be part of the problem as well.

Quite possibly. I am running stock rims on the Cooper Discoverer winters.

I'm running 265 70/17s on my 2010 Prerunner. I had to remove the front mud flaps because I got some scrape when I turned right, but it might be because the wheels are FJ Cruiser Steelies which have a different offset. I haven't had any other issues than that, and the good news is that the tires correct the speedometer error exactly!

Stock sport wheels are about +30mm offset I think, a heat gun should fix my rubbing I think. New stance is well worth the trouble.

I think the replica SEMA wheels have more poke that the OEM.

Drivers side did touch barely when backing up cranked but not enough to matter.

Confirming that this is what I run for my winter tires. Never had any problem. Just swapped them on today actually.
