I recently purchased the TRD Pro Tail Lights for my 2017 SR5 Tacoma from Spark Parts and I washed my truck this evening, and when I was drying it around the back of the lights, I noticed some drops of water around the edge of the light. I just wanted to know if this is normal when it rains or when you wash your truck and will it evaporate. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

In the light or just the back side of the housing?

Its probably less noticeable on the red lens then the clear Pro lenses but it is normal. I just use a leaf blower or air compressor to blow all the water out of the tiny crevices.

EDIT: as long as the water is not IN the lens, you are fine. If it is, check that the bulbs are in there tight or check for any hairline cracks.

I don't have a picture it was getting dark outside.

I did remove the light and dried along the backside of the light

I also used a can of air to blow around the top and the water came out.

Thank you all for your help I really appreciate it.

    Have a great weekend.
