Hello, so I'm having a little issue with starting on my 2RZ-FE. It's just a slow kind of boggy start up and I feel like it should/used to have more quick response on start up. Hooked up a battery and charging system scanner and it's saying that all of my charging system is running fine and my battery is fine also. I do all my own maintenance and other than the starting the truck runs like a top for 235,xxx miles on her. I was just wondering if anyone else has any ideas or input.

Can you post a video of the startup? It could just be a bad starter

It happens very intermittently, I just tried to get a video and of course it started just fine. I was thinking the starter but since the scan said it was all good I was thinking if there was something I might have missed. But that's exactly what it seems like it would be to me

Starters, solenoids, relays, connections, etc., can all cause intermittent problems. Finding the actual cause can be difficult. If you can check it while it's not cranking properly, see what the voltage is at the starter. If it's normal the problem is most likely the starter, if it's way lower than a reading at the battery during cranking, then it's somewhere else in the starting electrical circuit.

Have you tried checking the fuel pressure? It is also possible air filter dirty.
