First time I ever heard of rocky mountain oysters was in the movie "funny farm" with Chevy Chase.

 

That movie is a staple in my book

Oh when I was young..... i did the same, burned the candle at both ends and worked like a dog. I am now paying the price for not stopping to smell the roses every now and again.

I feel ya brother, I worked as a furnace operator and had a six month stent of 12-16 hour night shifts for six months straight with only two days off to see both my parents get remarried.
I definitely realize the little things now.

 

Although, they are still 160+ miles away.

 

I know. I went to see a buddy and they measure their land in square miles instead of acres like I’m used to. I just know there was work to be done, good food to be eaten and whiskey to be dranken

 

Meh, that's just a country mile right?

 

Not much love for eastern Colorado..."hidden" gem.
