Got the key fob today and had it programmed in 20 seconds. One small glitch though, it turns the alarm on and off and will unlock the doors, but arming doesn't lock the doors. Is there some setting that is off?

edit: the lock button inside the vehicle in the armrest does work though. thoughts?

Go in the truck and click the arm, try and hear if the relay is clicking. If it's not check the connection at the rs3000 just make sure it's plugged in all the way

ok, i'll check the plug. I don't hear the door trying to click at all when hitting the button/trying to lock it. When it hit it again to disarm it does click and unlocks.

Yeah the relay clicking is much more faint than the actual mechanism, if your unlock is working you won't be able to hear the relay over the doors unlocking

In my Corolla where I have the RS3000 if I manually unlock the doors before turning the engine off sometimes when I exit and arm it the doors will unlock. So the logic gets screwed up. I haven't investigated and checked the wiring yet.

Does anyone have the installation instructions and wiring diagram for the RS3000?

Does yours automatically lock the doors when the key is turned to ACC and automatically unlock when turned back to OFF? Mine does. I'm not sure if that's a setting or should always happen
