    Seniority won’t allow me to work on that run right now, working out of SA on the runs to Laredo, Eagle Pass and Del Rio. Probably later in the year or early next will be my next chance to be on your route again.

    Well, I guess I wait. You can tell them that people who live here are under the impression that most of the Engineers are assholes. I had no luck with the Mayor. Because some idiot ran into the side of a train going through the crossing (three decades ago!). And YES, he admits, San Marcos doesn't meet the "silent" crossing criteria, yet they have it.
    I long for the days where 4 a day, my dad was alive, and if visiting, he and the boys would run to the fence so Dad could "tape a train" on his little cassette!
