Seatbelt buckle replacement

Cap ladder rack...so far

So I’m finally a Tacoma owner yay! (but have always had Toyotas) so new in fact that I haven’t picked up the truck yet just bought it today. Apparently the seat belt buckle is gone from the driver side. I searched online and YouTube but can’t find anything specific to my year of how to install a new buckle. Do I really need to take the seat out like all of the other car videos showing?
Super excited about finding this place my son also has a Tacoma and O2 and we love them .
