Who has Florida played and proved anything? LSU is leading the country in a ton of offensive stats, with Texas on the resume. Yes they’ve played off conference teams who won 10 games last year mind you, but they are doing what they’re supposed to do and blow them out. That’s what shows dominance. Same for Alabama and Georgia up to this point. Beat who you’re supposed to how you’re supposed to.

 

Auburn was #7 when we annihilated them...

Oh... and we came back and got a game that was getting away from us. How will they respond to being behind? Auburn did it with Oregon but couldn't handle our stifling defense. We beat LSU... I challenge you to argue we dont be long in the top tier team conversation.

Annnnnd... Mullen has only 1 loss to a top 25 team.

I'm a hardcore Gator fan... so of course I'm gonna make an argument were the best... it's what fans do.

How will they handle being behind... if they overcome like they did last year in the SEC championship... I'll be sold.

I had an old coach tell me... a team is not defined by how they win... it's how they overcome the possibility of losing. That is what makes an elite team. We've done that twice this year.

 

I never said LSU was the best...but they deserve more credit than Florida and the rankings show that.

If you read through, specifically in this thread....you figure out that most damn near all Bama fans arent quite riding high on the performance of this year's team. Especially the defense.

We are able to temper our excitement with understanding the lack of depth and abundance of youth.

Auburn sucks. Will be surprised if they have 9 wins this season.

I'm happy about our win today... obviously. I had to hear so much crap all week long about how we are overrated and dont deserve to be in the top tier talk. We came out today and shut a lot of people up... even if Auburn was over ranked we beat them pretty handily and imho earned some much deserved respect.

But yes... if we do manage to beat LSU... you will hear me scream WoRlD ChAmPiOnS!

 

I'm impressed with Mullen. He's had to clean up a lot, and has faced some adversity with depth and the law.

He's done a lot, a whole lot faster than I thought he would.

I honestly thought he was a one trick pony with Dak at Mississippi State.
