    K&N Air Intake
I am staring to put some coin into my 2005 tacoma 4x4 access cap 4.0, the truck has almost 50K on it. I have just purchased the K&N Air intake for it and I was also looking at buying the throttle body spacer...do i even need this as I already will be installing the K&N???? Also, I am going to be buy dual side exhaust for it, I am thinking about going with flowmaters 50 series as I dont want it to be tooooo loud.

Any help and or ideas is greatly apperciated!!!

Put the K&n CAI in my 05, it sounds awesome and is definitely more responsive, but didn't really gain any mpg. Don't regret it for that alone. Just realize that these trucks already have a true CAI, but getting rid of the air box helps with throttle response. You may see a little more hp with the exhaust and the K&n but probably not much.
