Unless you're one of those guys who likes to keep their vehicles in the garage, hardly drive them on the streets/highway/offroad, and be anally retentive about maintaining/cleaning/etc. treating it like a museum piece. They're not considered a classic truck in any way. 1st generation Tacomas are meant to be driven on or off road and used as a truck.

I use mine as a truck! I've got several dents and scratches, and almost 106K miles. I think the buyback/crushing due to frame rust is what led to the near-extinction of decent early 1st gens...

Yah I’ve been trying to clean them and they don’t get that yellow tint off of them. Someone took of the OEM taillights and I hate it haha.

Get some simple green and spray the motor down with it and rinse it off. Also if your headlights are fogged up, you can buy newer ones off rockauto for cheap and the truck will look 10 years newer. Also you'll be able to see better driving at night.

I tried several diffrent treatment deals on my old headlight and most everything wears off or fogs up after a few months. Even sanding and polishing with rubbing compound it came back pretty quick.

I’ll check rock auto out, I’ve been going through them for all the parts so far. Just did the trans filter a couple weeks ago. Forgot to measure the fluid I poured out. DOH!

I used engine cleaner on it before but the dirt doughnuts keep the engine bay a nice shade of brown.
