A rear locker isn't needed either. It's really nice to have though. I use my front locker whenever I can't get through an obstacle in lo/lo rear locked. Also, I never hammer down. That's the whole point of dual locked, dual cased. Come to think of it most guys I've watched hammer down didn't have a front locker to help pull them through slowly so they resorted to the skinny pedal. lol

agree completely, although i walked through stuff open/open that others with locked front and rear struggled. tires and fineness can go far. I love to watch a good hammer down though.

Time in the seat and skill indeed go a long way. I've done stuff open/open that I'm very proud of. I've also gone back to that same stuff dual locked, dual cased and laughed at how easy it was. lol

I wish i had more time in the seat, I also think some are just better at wheeling then others, no mater how much seat time they have, some never learn.

    Hey...i had fun. Fuck it

    Hi!!!!! Lol

Na man. A rear locker makes a huge difference. Front locker is great, but that rear one does numbers.

I struggled through slickrock open/open.......i can walk that shit now without a spotter. Well, except the new obstacle. But yea.

I was open/open here. And had a little much jameson. Starts trail, "lets fuck some shit up" . 2 minutes later, "shit, something broke guys".... One of the best trips i have had. Great times

    Agree!

Same thing here. Although, I just spent my re-gear/possible locker money on hospital co-pays/deductible so re-gear is put off....again.

Is it worth it? Will I actually use it a lot? Will I break stuff? Do I want to deal with it? and so on....

That's a good point. I carry a spare CV and the tools to replace it anyway. It takes me about 30 minutes to swap a new one in including a beer break.
