After many moons of being an android guy, I decided that I'm going to finally dip my toe into Apple's cult and get an Ipad*. I have settled on the Air, as the Pro is a too little pricey and I don't need that super an Ipad.

But I'm completely flummoxed between getting the 64gb and the 256gb. THere's $150 difference between the two, which isn't all that much a deal breaker, but I'm also going to get the pencil that works with them for my daughter to play with... so now we're talking some real money for the 256gb one with the pencil.

Has anyone out there ever gotten a 64gb Ipad and regretted not getting more storage?

I'll use it for streaming shows and playing games (Pubg exclusively). My daughter will probably use it to stream shows, some drawing apps and maybe a few small games. that's about it.

    * the big reason is that I"m recently divorced, and my daughter needs my help with homework and my ex is useless with respect to math. So I figure my daughter and I could facetime and work through her homework when she's not at my house. Oh, and I'm sick of playing pubg on my phone. ha.

If all you are doing is streaming, game playing, and face time, then 64 gig is plenty. The thing that sucks space are downloaded movies stored on the device. With kids the most likely scenario is down loading a bunch of videos so they have something to do on long trips.

I got the 256 one last night. Figured unused space isn't a hinderance and I'd just waste the extra $150 on stupid shit anywya.
