    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    We had a 1stSgt that would haze you for having your hands in your pockets at formation. One of my buddies would carry a tube of chapstick and would pull it out and start applying it two steps before the 1stSgt would get to him. He also named his lab 1stSgt and would stand within earshot and tell stories of what a dumb ass 1stSgt was being.

    We all bought white canvas shoes and dyed them bright pink for a battalion run we were road guards for one time and wore legit hOOters shorts and tops (no leggings) to a company run that was in rainbow PT gear off base to the beach and back.

    Another buddy was always getting into shit for having a mustache that was out of reg so he got some clip on dreadlocks and clipped them inside his PT shorts where they hung out the bottom because he could not find a regulation on pubes. Good times!

    I hated that, and cellphone use while in uniform or numbnuts not wearing a hat...going out to eat at lunch time. I ripped one guy pretty good for that. also no boot shine.
