I got some pics from this vendor. EXACTLY what I'm looking for. They are square sliders tucked up under the rocker panels, but still bolted to the frame. Thank you sir.

I've got a set of those Rocky Road sliders, decided I didn't need them, they were only on my truck a couple weeks, look brand new, make me an offer, in west Los Angeles.

got it, thanks. no scratches, and all of the hardware? I'm in south OC so it would be a bit of a drive.

A couple of the bolts are missing, you'd have to buy a couple to replace. They bolt to the frame and through the rocker area.

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to pass. Not worth fighting traffic to LA.

Finally got the Rocky Road sliders mounted. Exactly what I was looking for. True rocker protection that doesn't "stick out" too far. And only $429

Just bought new sliders! Wanted to get them galvanized for something different but it was too much of a hassle.

Any thoughts on a coating or finish? I want something super low maintenance and rust free aside from touch ups after scrapes. Marine coating?

I don't have a number, but they are fairly heavy.

@DiffLock That's exactly what I am looking for. Do they stick out far enough to prevent another person's door from hitting it?

I'm looking for something similar to the OP. My wife likes overlanding and hitting trails, but since it's also a daily driver, she complains about the RCI sliders sticking out too far. So far, I'm liking the Rocky Road Outfitters option (https://www.rocky-road.com/tacoma-rock-sliders.html), but I'm curious if anyone knows of any other options that have come out in the past few years?

    Current set up:

My Cali-Raised trail sliders tuck in nice and tight. Opt for no kickout and the tuck in even tighter.
