Every once in a while I will get a significant tire rub when turning sharply at moderate speeds on off camber roads.. For example, highway exits that require banking turns in a "roundabout" style. Uphill and down hill. This never happens on flat turns... Rub will happen on both Driver and Passenger side, depending on direction of turn... I have to reduce speed and straighten out to correct. Speeds around 20-40 MPH. I haven't been able to identify the exact spots the rub is occurring. Possible that the one scenario is a rub at the bottom/back corner of the fender lip.

My main question is, does removing the Sway Bar increase the possibility of this type of tire rubbing?

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Well if its rubbing at the fender then increasing the caster would probably help reduce that issue.

What setting are your SPCs at?

It's odd that you rub on those roundabouts when you already trimmed fenders and did the cmc and pinch weld.

Imo. If you have the caster set at 3.5-4 that should help.

Not having a sway bar could allow more compression than you'd see with it, which could lead to rubbing. Have you tried fully compressing your tire on something to see where it's rubbing? It's also important to remember that with the SPC UCAs, increasing the castor using the adjustment on the arm actually decreases clearance between the tire and the rear of the wheel well. This is opposite of what happens when you increase castor using the LCA adjusters.

Mine would rub on roundabouts until I moved my caster up and got a BMC and I’m on a 285

I am a complete Newb when it comes to adjustable UCAs, their settings, and alignment.

Here are some pics if it helps:

Thanks for addressing my specific swaybar question. From the responses I have gotten this far, sounds like I just need to go to an alignment shop that specializes in alignments for our types of modified trucks. I do not conceptually understand alignment specs enough to baby sit a tech. I need to find a loading dock or something to try and find the rub too.
