Does anyone have experience with "electrostatic powder coated" calipers?
    Do they "not rust"?
I live in the snowbelt (southeast MA) and will be replacing mine.
I don't need the color, but could use them not rusting.

URL Example: PowerStop is one supplier of such.

I don't live in a snow belt so I have not much of a clue about that.

All powder coat is electrostatic. If a part was properly prepared for the powder coat then it will not rust.

there is a caliper paint that I’ve used on all my Camaro's and it works great they can even color match for an extra price. It’s called G2 and comes in a little can but that can can do about 5 coats on each caliper.

Tacoma and most other Toyota truck & SUV calipers are steel

You're correct. My bad, I hate spreading misinformation.

RockAuto lists half a dozen coated calipers for rust prone areas. I've not tried them, but saw them not long ago while browsing.
