Ordered 2 new lower control arms, a fog light switch and the little piece that covers the wire going to the rear view mirror.

Sorry for the delay in the response I had to go back and look through purchase histories to find out what brand they were.
These were RDJ trucks off-road fender flares that are mat black with texture finished.

Thanks to Tacomaholic’s install video I did the same but added the surround in gloss carbon fiber. Love it.

2019-10-02 23.31.49-1.jpg I finally mounted 255/85/16 St maxx's. Better pics forthcoming. Very nice tires! I may have to agree with others, perhaps the perfect size for our trucks?

Swapped out my front door speakers and finished that upgrade last night (did a crappy job taking progress pics). Subaru Kicker tweeters, Rockford Fosgate 6x9s, and Stinger sound damping material. This has been a great mod and I wish it was the first thing I ever did. Don't listen to anyone who tells you you won't notice a difference.

You use a dremel tool to shave down parts of the connector to make the tweeter fit. I was dreading that part but it turned out to be pretty simple. Rather do that than sound deaden the doors, my hands look like I tried to separate two fighting cats after that.

I have the non-JBL speakers (tweeters, 6.5, 6x9) from my 2015. Flip me $20 for shipping and they're yours, may God have mercy on your ears.

You can get a lifetime alignment from a Firestone shop for 190ish. And then you can get an alignment every week if you want.

Kind of crazy to think that for just $100 more, a one time alignment turns into a lifetime deal. Seems like a no-brainer?

Firestone alignments are all about finding a tech who cares to do the job right. Once you find one, request him/her every time.

If you just go in and get any tech, you could get a piss-poor alignment. Don't hesitate to push back when the specs are not where you want them!

Removed my BAMF bolt on sliders after 4 years on the truck. Expected to see some rust due to other posts and their experiences removing full bolt on sliders. Was pleasantly surprised to find just a smidge of dirt and nothing but the silhouette of paint fade on the frame rails. Washed the sliders and the frame, coated both with fluid film and bolted them back up. Disclaimer: this is SoCal where rust is a foreign concept.

    Hello,

So Monday I went out and went on some dirt roads in the woods to go shooting with the bro. I used four wheel drive a little on the paths. Later when I got home and turned my truck back on to go out again, a womp womp womp sound started at lower mph (25-50) and when I go on the free way it either goes away or I just cant hear it (assume i just cant hear it)... and it sounds like its on my passenger side wheel in the front (could be wrong, somewhere in the front though). It also seems like when I put in in four wheel the womp sound goes away. Kinda odd it goes away when I put in four wheel... I had my tires rotated etc. about two weeks ago. Anybody have any ideas? I don't know if its wheel bearings or what.. I just find it odd that it pretty much goes away when I put in back into four wheel.

    Thanks.
