Looking for info On what's required to swap a 2.7 for a 3.4?
My rig is a 96 regular cab 2.7 5 speed and I'm looking at buying a complete donor rig that is a 99 extended cab 3.4 5 speed.

I know the motor mounts on the frame are different but what else? I ran a search but couldn't find much maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.... Links to any write-ups on the swap would be appreciated.

Not sure where you searched but the 3.4 is a popular swap .

Do a search on your favorite search engine Toyota 2.7 to 3.4 engine swap then narrow it down

Comes down to the physical mechanical hard parts.

The electrical of merging the new ECM to the cab harness . I have found the best thing is to have the Toyota EWD`s for both vehicles makes things much easier.

You should have everything you need with a complete donor
