I have a 19 DCLB OR and I do not know much about suspension and lifts but i was wondering if anybody has any advice on what lift/spring pack to buy with my situation.

My brother and I ride motorcycles frequently and some of the trails we ride at require some off-roading with a decent amount of articulation. Our bikes have a combined weight of 445 pounds wet. We also carry about 60 pounds of gear and fuel. I am also about to buy a roof top tent along with a bed rack. I plan on making trips out to the west coast from Maryland and the roof top tent and bed rack that will be installed during the off-season of riding. The total weight in the bed will be about 400 pounds with all gear.

Question is- I am looking to buy the Fox 2.0 shocks front and rear with a OME Dakar leaf pack (heavy duty) for the weight in the back. Is that overkill? I just bought 16x8 Ray 10s and plan on putting 265/75/16 on those so i may need a lift anyways. Sorry for the long post, I hope i can get some good advice from you knowledgable folks. Thanks in advance.

The Dakar 96 HD springs are “recommended” for ~600 lb constant load. You can remove one of the leaf’s and turn it into a 95 medium pack.

My 2014 with 95R installed. A short 2 inch lift on front the OME springs in back give me a short 3 inch lift in the rear. With winch, IFS & Mid skids, sliders and general stuff I carry about 350 - 400 pounds over stock.

    Dakar’s ride really really stiff.

Check out the Icon rxt leaf springs. I run them on my Tacoma and raptor. They ride really well and hold weight as good as Dakar’s do.

Send me a PM. I can get you hooked up with the whole suspension kit and we can go over what might work best for your needs in more detail without it getting lost in TW.

I have the Dakars with Fox and couldn't be happier with the setup. I went with the 4" spindle lift in the front and it gives me about a 1 inch rake. My truck is my lifeblood so quality of ride is important.

I got the 2.0 resi for the rear with the Dakar Leaf Pack. The leaf provides a 2.5 inch lift if I remember correctly. I got the rear resi to match the lift for the rear.
