My wife hit the mailbox

Hello friends,

As the title states, my wife backed into the mailbox a few days ago. A few scratches to the body just above the right tail light and the Leer topper got a chunk taken out of the corner.

Body shop thieves around me want $1,000 to fix. I'm guessing you guys could recommend cheaper options.

She's still allowed to drive the Taco since we only have one vehicle at the moment. Another incident and she will be gifted a bus pass.

The pain

 

Be thankful that's all she hit. Mine has ran over everything from animals, grocery carts, curbs, sprinklers, rocks, and even a tree. See pic of busted up Suburban. Note it only has 3 legs, 1 was left on the freeway. Now take a breath of air. Good luck with your wife and truck.

Personally I wouldn't even bother fixing that. Maybe a black sharpie and call it good

 

Leave it as is- looks good.

 

Do you want it fixed properly? $1000 doesn't seem out of line for that damage; yes, it's a lot of money, but there's a lot more work there than you might think (especially if you do it properly).

You ain't never seen my wife drive. You can only go so fast in reverse. She once told me that what she cant drive through, she can definitely crash through it. This is Suburban #3 she has destroyed.
