Any 4 cyl. dual battery installs out there?
    What kit are you using?
I have the ABS pump so I can't use the separate battery type, the second battery would have to be right next to the original one, (or maybe bed mounted?).

I made my own battery box, relocated my spare onto a wilco, and put mine under the bed, welded onto the factory hitch. Installed a 100w solar panel and used a 31M northstar battery. Its a standalone system that i use to run my fridge so i dont have to worry about running the starting battery down. Put an aux fuse block in the bed along with an inverter.

Imo, I was interested in dual battery setups, until I realized, I could just run an aux fuse box and solar on my roof, the keep the battery charged up when running a lot of aux devices. Ive run an arb fridge for 4 days without turning the truck on. Cab also add isolators and battery monitors, with a good AGM battery you can keep your devices going

I'm using a custom setup. Cole hersey solenoid that has two options, "auto" or "forced open". I intentionally did not give myself the option to force it closed. Under auto it closes 5 minutes after power to ACC so it can never close during cranking (ACC power is cut during crank which opens the solenoid) as my cabling is not thick enough for cranking loads (4ga). If I ever really need to self jump I'll connect the batteries with jumper cables. Going out of your way for built in self jump ability is dumb because of how little you would use it, if ever.

Battery mount is the ATO dual battery mount that rotated the stock battery and puts another one right next to it. I had to modify the kit a little bit to lower the battery. Requires using the smaller of the two stock battery options which is fine.

My second battery is a UBC 75 Ah true deep cycle.
