My truck is not starting. My guess is a battery or alternator issue. This is what my truck has been doing:
I tried to start my truck Sunday night, the dashlights came on once then it all died and nothing came on when I tried again. Yesterday I jumped it, started right up, died when I put it in reverse. The clutch and brake were still in. jumped it again and let it run for a few minutes, tried turning on the headlights, everything died.
Also, 3 or 4 weeks ago I drove from the parking lot I had parked to the one next to my building to run in to get something. When I restarted it started then died. I let it sit a minute and tried again and it worked.
The lights have been off, there was nothing that should have been drawing power. Last Tuesday (a week ago) was the last time I drove. Also, the positive terminal has a fair amount of corrosion, more than it did a month ago. The battery is from November 2015, so it’s probably done, but I’m going to try to borrow a voltmeter to test the battery soon.

    any advice y’all?

Sorry to hear about your issues. Maybe try jumping your truck, starting it and if it turns over let it idle for 15-20 minutes so the battery gets some charge.
