Nope he won't allow it because he's already "losing too much money" from the outage.

Realized I never showed a photo of the truck yet. Needs a little paint work but overall not too bad.

Can you guys tell me if this front axle seal looks okay?

my dust cover on my CV axle was slightly bent and I am trying to figure out if that caused a small leak or not. I straightened the dust cover back and now I'm trying to figure out if the seal looks ok. I only drove about 20 miles with the dust cover like that.

Are you suppose to see the bearing innards? Shouldn't there be a dust seal?

Pretty hard to tell from a pic. Is the seal nice and regular all the way around? If so it's worth a shot. If you can find a spot where it's been corrupted it's time to find a new seal.

It’s a non hooked up air bag. There was air bag wires and some other wires on the passenger seat, not sure what for. Maybe to trigger passenger side air bag or something since some cars have them turn on or off if someone is sitting in it.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

My apologies if this has already been asked.

What seats and what was the process for getting them to fit?

The seats came out of an Acura rsx, not sure on the year. I cut/beat off the legs of the stock seats, bolted them in, tacked the rsx seat rails (after I cut off those seat mounts too obvs) and then fully welded the mounts to the seats outside the truck.

    Stock mounts bolted down:

    And fully welded:

Looks no different than mine did and I had my CV out on the driver's side 4 times in the past several weeks (long story).

I would just put it back together and keep an eye on it, if it starts leaking then order a new seal and replace.

I was changing the diff fluid on my truck today and the rear job went well with no issues. Noticed the transmission drain plug has a small leak so need to fix that soon. Went to change the front diff fluid and noticed a few drops hanging on the bottom, then I looked up at the fill bolt. Crazy that it was in there loose, I could turn it by hand. :lalala:

The drain plug on the front diff is super stuck and I don't have a breaker bar atm so it's going to need some coercion once I get a replacement.
This photo is what I saw when I looked under the truck. I'm hoping the leak is from the loose bolt and not the RTV "gasket" that is sealing the front diff.

Been eyeing an ARB bumper ever since I bought my taco, finally pulled the trigger after seeing this deal. $823.40 for these two items after a 10% coupon at 4WP. Paid with a 2.5% back card so I’m total they cost me just over $800

... I'll pull the trigger on it, I have the money and need the bumper now. Can you give me the coupon code? I'll order it this evening.... I NEED this bumper. Can I apply the code to just the bumper? Bring it down to like $750 or something I think. That's mandatory minimum price set by ARB I believe.

I don’t remember the code. I just opened their site up in different browsers and offered me 10%. Keep doing that and I’m sure it’ll pop up eventually. The lights come free with the bumper so you may as well get them‍♂️

Peeled off my old and faded 28% tint for new 20% that is clearer. LOL. Had enough leftover to do the xCab windows, too. xCab windows look like poo on the inside but the door windows came out decent. Unacceptable at a tint shop but acceptable for a DIY driveway job.
