Yeah. I just need Toyota to correct the record at this point. My engine does not have damage caused by me and they must say that in writing.

 

keep pestering them and you should be fine. your not asking for a hand out. your just asking for the record to be gone and someone held accountable

OP - sorry for your troubles. I had issues with a few Honda and Acura dealers, and got the same thing from corporate Honda. They don’t care. At all. I sued the dealer for their damage to my S2000 and they folded like a lawn chair. Paid me for damage, new parts, filing costs, etc. I signed a non slander agreement otherwise they would be named, but not hard to figure out. And of course, they are in Florida like yours.

 

Sounds downright awful experience. I hope it all works out in the end. So I read the whole thread but wasn't entirely clear: so did you determine that the vibration you have felt was "normal"?

 

When I had hellish issues with my local dealership, I contacted my(Wa.)state attorney's office, lemon law division. They set up a court date with the rep outta Portland, Or. I was ready to state my case and two days before the date I was called and told the factory would buy my truck back, which they did. They are so full of shit from the service writer all the way to the factory rep. Lazy bastards, no wonder the employee turnover is horrendous at these places. They really suck...
