    Hello World!

They recommended I make a post, so I hope this doesn't seem obnoxious. I'll keep the intro short.

After driving a hand-me-down '97 Nissan Maxima and a used '05 Mazda 3 for about 16 years, I was finally able to purchase my first ever brand new vehicle. I had wanted a Tacoma since the 2003 first-gen models were out, but getting a truck was impractical at that point in my life, so I waited.

Have to say, I'm so glad I did... I absolutely love my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport, and was extremely lucky to find one with a manual transmission. I've had a hard time finding people to ask questions about some of the more detailed aspects of owning this truck, so I'm pretty stoked to be here among all of you Taco fans!

    Cheers!

Love that Rim/Tire combination. That is one of my first "wish-list" upgrades.

I had never heard of this, but have definitely noticed it. Both of my prior vehicles had much less forgiving clutches. It was quite surprising how "comfortable" shifting is in the truck, but it also feels a bit lazy. Would this give the truck a more sporty shifting experience?

check the feedback in that thread. it makes it direct with feel & engagement. the lazy thing you describe is Toyota messing with you with a contrivance not at all needed by a skilled driver.

there's lots of good info around here. welcome and hope you get something good.
