Long story short is three months ago I bought the Icon hydro bumpstop kit from Icon. After about two thousand miles one of them ceased up as in it would no longer extend. I called them up seeing as they were under warranty and I was told to ship them in (on my dime). I was also recommended to send both in so they could look at them.

Once they received them they serviced them and advised me that they would be shipping them back. I returned their email to say that if I could have them by friday that would be great as I was leaving Saturday morning on a four day 600 mile trip. No response from Icon, so I drive the truck without them. I come home tonight to open them to find that clearly they only worked on the one shock as the other one was still covered in dust and wasn't even cleaned from them. The travel o-rings had started to crack (after only being three months old) and they didn't even replace those on either bumpstop).

Maybe it's just me but it sure seems like for expensive parts they did the bare minimum and frankly I don't have much faith in them holding up now. I understand very well that sh*t happens but its how the company stands behind it that makes the difference. I guess after shelling out almost $700 for them I expected a little more. At this point I'm wishing I had gone with the Fox version. Has anyone had a better experience than this with them?

my question to you is. did you report to them that the 2nd one needed service also? customer rep probably only put in the service ticket that 1 bumpstop needed work. had friends had similar results u did with different products with kings and fox.

this goes for any service company really. I have experience this with many warranty parts from many different companies. including car delaerships. I always make sure they put on the repair ticket to not only fix what was broken but to check this and that at the same time

Just for curiosity sake. What do you do with the truck that requires $700 bump stops?
