Really don't know much about Mishimoto products but those do look "high quality" made radiator replacement hose's.

Plus the fact that they currently are on sale for $81.00 for the pair not including shipping (normally $180.00 yikes!).

Still though, looks alone really doesn't really mean high quality and long life. I might just give'em a shot.

The quoted price isn't too bad on sale for 81 dollars... Silicone seems like it would be too soft for a suction hose. That being said ...

I have to say that the longest lasting hoses I have ever had were Toyota OEM Hoses. My wife's 98 Sienna Van had the original hoses on it when we sold it to her cousin in 2011 with 165K miles on it. It still has the original hoses on it now with 228K miles.

I had the same experience with the hoses on my 20 year old 93 Isuzu Truck when I sold it in 2012 with the original hoses still on it and in good condition.

Yea, I hear ya about OEM hose's and or Toyota OEM in general.

My 2008 Tacoma just hit the 10 year old mark this past April and still going strong with the original hose's, etc. engine has well over 200,000 K miles.

Also I remember when we got my wife's brand new 2016 Toyota 4Runner (back in December of 2015) and she had a 2003 4Runner (that one was also purchased brand new back in March of 2003) that had well over 250,000 K miles on the engine and that one also still had the original hose's as well. We gave it to my sister and it's still running good and strong with close to 300,000 K miles on it, last I heard.

Why fuck with something when it does not need replacing, right!

What kind of clamps? I used the HPS ones and the lower hose still drips and i put two clamps on each end and still leaks. I going back to new OEM hoses and clamps...

Ask someone on a wrx/sti forum, Mishimoto is huge in that community.

I have been running silicone hoses on my Mazda for some time now. They look freshy fresh and match the intake elbows that are also silicone. They are Samco Sport. Look the same except inside is blue. Truck is still on oems tho. I will probably just do new oem on truck tho since all stock under hood......just not yet

Looks like HPS Black 57-1314-BLK for 2.7's is out of stock. Red or blue but no black. Only black heater hoses on HPS site for 2.7..........Pricey too.

    Samco no makey for Tacoma.

Since my truck is going in for a frame I've been buying some stuff to freshen up while it's apart and got gates hoses cheap on Amazon. One was $8 and the other was $11. That's a lot less than $81.
