Very smart. What I was thinking I could weld a nut to it. That sounds a tad easier.

It’s harder to remove too since the bolt was completely bent. Did a number on the threads.

 

Yeah, a welded nut would be ideal, or last resort in most cases

 

I’m hoping all this penetrating oil will coax it enough. Heat will be next.

I’m worried about that snapped bolt with no meat left. Going to use an EZ out

 

try a small pipe wrench

 

That could work. Let me see if I could even fit one on there.

 

Well worst case scenario, before drilling would be heat and the welded nut. Especially having it out on a vise you should be fine

 

idk the best way, but i've used a grinder to flatten two opposite sides and then put an adjustable on it to turn one out

 

No rush to pick them up but I’m sure we can find a TW express heading your way

 

Is there ant thread on the back side on the one that snapped off flush?

Put two bolts on it. Tight against one another then breaker bar. Penetrating lube.

Forreal, I'm in central Cali and getting a job in San Jose with my uncle. I'm hoping my Celica will suffice but we'll see

 

Another great idea. The way I got it out was by cutting a slit in the end of the bolt, and using my impact gun with the driver bit.

 

Sup with the smaller tire on that sas'd rig....or am i drunk?
