I've lost the black plastic knob for the dashboard three position switch H2 to H4 to L4.
Nearest Toyota dealer is ~90 miles away in Idaho Falls, and they tell me I must buy the entire switch assembly. Interestingly, they also say they have NEVER sold that part!

The photo shows what I have now. I believe the switch is fine, and the "post" part of the switch looks OK. It looks like all I need is to install the small plastic knob.

Does anyone know where I might be able to source just the knob that fits over the plastic "post" part of the switch?

Or perhaps someone on the Forum has an old inoperative switch assy and would be willing to part with the knob?

    Or any other ideas?

    Many thanks.

Look up AJT designs- also I think the stock climate control knobs fit that location. Mine is an 06, but I replaced all climate control knobs and 4wd knob with the AJT versions

I second the AJT option. He makes some great stuff and they look 100 times better.
