Just trying to see what you guys think I could ask for my truck. I’m trying to sell within the next year and slowly doing some tidying up of the truck to make it look it’s best.

It is a 2002 Pre-Runner TRD Off Road. It has about 191,000 miles on it. No major mechanical issues. Have done little things like replace the radiator, and the latches on the doors after breaking 5 or so door handles. Got new lock cylinders because the original ones were jamming and put new trim below the windows.

Only aftermarket parts are the American Racing wheels and recently new Monroe struts. I was thinking about putting a leveling spacer kit on the front but I’m not sure if it really makes a difference on value. Just kept it bone stock since getting it and she has treated me well.

I was thinking I could probably ask around $8,000 since it’s only 2 wheel drive but I’m not entirely sure.

    Thanks!

Honestly a vehicle is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Would I pay $8,000 for it.....probably not. But there are some die hard 1st gen fans out there and yours looks to be really clean. The 2wd is a killer for sure but if you find someone wanting to do a conversion or a SAS you’d be ok.

Well thank you for the insight. I’m trying to get into something newer next year around this time but debating if it’s better to sell before the 200k mark. Hopefully going to get a 2018 TRD Off Road and get my 4 wheel drive I want.
