    Good Lord, those multi-folding tailgates. Honestly I wouldn’t have bought a Tacoma if it had one of those. I look forward to seeing a bunch of GMCs with half their tailgates missing in five or six years when those things inevitably rust out.

    Don’t get me wrong, it looks like a cool idea in theory (I do like the flap that pops up to help secure lumber and whatnot with the tailgate down, I’ll admit that) but damn, I’m always against adding more potential points of failure to a truck. Also the thought of getting a load of sand or gravel in a truck with one of those tailgates actually makes me cringe. Cruuuuunch...
