Absolutely!! My son's been tagging along since he was six. He's almost twenty. In the spring, it's turkey hunting and trout fishing. Summer, on the river for bass. Fall, in a tree with his bow. Gotta start working on the grandkids soon!

Kudos to all the dads (and moms) grandads, uncles, mentors, that get get our youth out in to the woods. Thank you!

I started taking our son at 3, our daughter turns 4 tomorrow and she wants to go. I haven't shot a deer in front of them but have shot possums and raccoons in front of them. Our son is almost ready to start pinching on a deer.

I remember going with my dad as young as I can remember and can remember having a ball even though I was 15 when I finally got my first deer.

Our son waiting on me to get home from work to go.

If the weather wasn't bad i took my daughter just to sit with me for a couple hours when she was 2... She needed a tablet and prolly still does at 5 but she was much better last year and I hope this year she will be even better. I wanted to get her adequate on an ar but we havent had a ton of luck yet... Still have a month before gun season so maybe it will all come together... I went with my dad a time or two when I was 3 or 4 but we mostly hunted small game until I was 9 and big enough for a rifle and we had a place to deer hunt

We were walking in once after he learned to whistle, and he was whistling. It’s not about killing something, the memories are what matter.

A very dear friend of mine had this and told me he wanted to give it to our son. He called me a little while ago and ask me to meet him at the gun store near my work. Did the paperwork to transfer it to my name. Remington model seven, youth, chambered in .243 our son will be jacked up.

My grandma did that, kinda. Went to her house and she had peanuts sitting on the counter. Ate some, ask her why she bought unsalted peanuts? She said they had chocolate on them, I ate all that off
