    2016 sport short-bed DC

Use case: 25% off-road miles. These are largely farm/fire roads in pretty good shape; but there are long stretches of washboards that can start to get the truck sideways at speeds between 45 and 55 mph.

No trails, no crawling, no heavy hauling or towing. The rest of the time is highway miles.

So i need a set-up that can keep the truck tracking straight over fast washboards and still be taught and responsive enough for highway miles.

Not specifically interested in any lift, but an inch front and back wouldn’t hurt for my 265 65 16s

What suspension set-up comes dialed for this out of the box, with minimum tuning/tweaking required?

    TIA

The best way to get the best of both worlds is to get a high end set of coilovers and shocks that feature two things :

    1. Custom valved with a flutter stack, this is how you take the fast square edge hits out of wash board roads
    2. Adjustable reservoirs - will alllow you to soften up the ride for offroad and stiffen it up for getting fast and furious
