Anyone know how to get tacomaworld emojis on phone so you can use them in a text message?

 

Because of the different operating systems of the two platforms it's likely you can't. What you can do is go to the many many emoji sites based on your phones operating system and just download as many as you want. The downside to this is a lot of times if the emoji doesn't get embedded in the message the recipient will just get the box with a question mark in it.

Some day soon I hope to be able to discuss this with everyone. I finally looked at the photos again this weekend and it was really traumatic.

It really is hard for me to think about it. I was helping another member who was preparing for his final motorcycle training course exam and license testing this weekend. I was looking for videos showing evasive maneuvers, steering and counter steering, and emergency braking in the rain. One video in regard to evasive steering shows the rider not compensating correctly in a curve at high speed, he crosses the line and drove head on into a fire truck. I decided not to send him that video considering he had only been on a motorcycle twice in his life, and needed to be clear headed for the test. The video states the driver survived due to the fact that it was a medically equipped vehicle with expertly trained personnel onboard. The impact shook me to the core. We lost two dear friends back in 95' when someone crossed the center line and hit them head on so those images came back to me as well. I seem to be startled a lot more now my unexpected loud noises too more than ever.

I'm sure things will improve. When I was almost killed on a motorcycle myself back in 83', it took me 10 years to get back on a bike. So there is hope.

 

I likely won't ever get back on a bike. A really close friend died 3 yrs ago due to someone pulling out in front of him. He went flying and landed on his head instantly killing him. He wore a full face helmet, neck brace, HIT air suit, boots the works. He left behind his wife and twin 2 yr old daughters. Thinking of my child I can't do that.

My mom made dad get rid of his bike after he got ran off the road by a semi he gracefully laid the bike down and slid. She was pregnant with my sister at the time and I was a little over 2 yrs old. He has only ridden my bikes since and won't get another. He was bruised up badly and the bike was trashed.

Funny how nasty accidents or situations really makes you think about your own mortality.

It'll slowly start to go away. It takes a while though. It took years for me to get over dealing with trees filled with ice, I was almost crushed/decapitated by one that fell onto my car while I was driving.

 

Yea, I am pretty much fearless and subscribe to the "when it's your time" theory but as of late things have been different for sure. On a positive note, I am driving like I have some sense all the time now and as a result the MPGs in the car are over 40, consistently!

I worry about those damn trees all the time in the winter. That must have made you shit your pants or did you see it falling and just couldn't stop? That's insane!!!!

People don't realize how heave trees are until you have to move one. I was like that before we moved up to the country. Until then my experience was with dead, dry shit. Live wet shit is a whole new ballgame.

 

Fell right on the front of the windshield and roof line. Didn't see a thing. Branch came through the windshield and smashed my hand and cut it to bits. A split second later or me going just a little faster and that brand would of hit my head. Also the tree snapped Midway up and the back section was held up by power lines so if that didn't happen the whole weight of the tree would of been on top of me. I crawled out and had to strip most of my clothes off because of the amount of glass that was cutting me up. Luckily one of the city workers monitoring the emergency channel and made it there before police or medical. They had blankets and got me in the truck and took me to the ER. Then went back and got my dad and got his car unstuck so he could go to the ER. I looked like I ran through a wall of razor blades. Had a total of 200 stitches all over plus hand surgery after that one.

Yep ice storm down here of 2003 or 4 can't remember which. Needless to say I am not a fan of ice and trees.

 

I’d love to have a bike, but for the same reasons doubt I ever will. I am more selective with who I’ll ride with now too. Can’t trust people these days. People drive way too distracted.
