Truck Rack

Looking for a fairly inexpensive truck rack that will work with a Roll N Lock tonneau cover.

 

it doesn't exist. most bed racks require the use of the bed rails as attachment points and the roll-n-lock covers them.

the only roll-up tonneaus that work with bed racks are the Pace Edwards Ultragroove and the Retrax XR. another option would be to install tracks on the bed side caps and add bed bars.

 

Not sure if these will work for you or not, but KB Voo Doo makes brackets (can't remember their exact name) that will work with tonneau covers. 4 brackets, shipped, cost less than $80. My Pace Edwards cover looks similar to what you may have. I made the rack myself - not a welder at all - total cost was under $300.

 

I know KB Voo Doo has been having issues with their powder coating, but I am pretty sure they make a rack that may fit your needs......not sure if it is in your price range, though. There may be others, too, but they are not inexpensive in my opinion. Guess it depends on what you actually want - your OP was vague in that regards.

 

Curious as to what you ended up going with that works with your Roll N Lock. I'm looking into it as well and am looking into the Voodoo brackets.

Not sure when you bought your brackets, but each one runs around $125 now, FOR ONE!

 

TexAg07.........didn't buy them all that long ago. Just the 4 bottom halves that attach to the bed rails were less than $80.
