I had 50 lbs of Noico sound deadening installed and am happy with the noise level now. At 60 mph i hear the wind by the mirror and tires on the road out my window. Thin glass probably. The dB level did not go down much 76.8 to 72.2 but the comfort level is better. Some MVL. Matt would help some maybe but the noise from the door glass would still be there.

You reduced the sound by about half, a little more actually, I'd say you did pretty good.

Where did you have the deadener installed? Just the doors and back wall, or did they drop the headliner and do the floor too? I noticed a huge difference just doing the doors and back wall, planning on tackling the floor with Noico, foam, and MLV, foam and MLV the back wall, and Noico and foam on the roof after the new year.

Every where except the roof. Inside and under the door trim frt and back ( access cab ). Really the only loud noise is the door glass area and in town up to 35 or so its very quite. The back wall cab noise is gone.

    Exactly.
3db down is half power, or half as loud. It's not what most think when they look at the number only 4db down.

I had four Infinity speakers and i furnished the noico and i paid 1000.00. Truck was clean inside when done. Cave Audio woodburn Oregon did the work and took pictures of the complete job. Very satisfied.
