Aside from dunking the engine compartment in tire shine...at 226,000 miles this seems like a decent deal, and ready to go camping with that shell.

Interesting plumbing of some vacuum lines to the K&N CAI...not familiar with that set up.

I'm a bit of a tinkerer and I've been thinking that I'll be unable to keep my hands off the engine.

I've ended up slapping a turbo on all my 4cyl cars and was wondering if many people did the same thing to 4cyl tacomas.

I wonder because I don't believe you can bounce the Tacoma's 2.7 off the rev limiter and be safe unlike a miata or Honda B engine.

Generally turbos need to spool up first but the tacomas 2.7 engine has good torque at lower rpms.

Still looking, but thinking I should stick to the 2.7, unless those engines are hard to find rebuilt or have no aftermarket parts.

I have seen several sites that sell the 3.4 V6.
