i would only be cautious if you flood your inside frame in the dirty offroad puddles with dirt and that built up inside, water on bare metal rusts, it doesn't have to be salty?
unless the Taco paint is proven to only have a bad reaction with artificial ice melt chemicals and salty sea water

 

Or just leave it and keep FFing the bare metal right? I'd imagine that's an option

 

With some really gritty blasty stuff? I feel like it’d eat it eventually

the problem i am running into are the enormous amount of different products that pretty much do all the same stuff

i was dissuaded from POR-15 because one of the top body shop guys here told me he did not like it because it seemed to peel very easy after a number of years and you have to redo

 

You don’t have to be a professional to use a rattle can. If I was painting a frame I wouldn’t even bother whipping out the HVLP, I’d just use a rattle can for something that small.

Oh if it were up to me the Cab would be on a rotisserie and the frame would be at the powdercoating shop.

 

No one likes them..but I've seen some badass lifted ones come through service for maintenance.
