Where are the “new” Innovative ideas?

Seems as though the innovative period for our trucks has stalled... Where’s all the cool new stuff people! I like when people continually reinvent the wheel (ie roof rack, etc) but Let’s see some new stuff!

 

I have no idea what you are talking about specifically, but I would love it if car manufacturers start integrating built in dashcams front and rear. I actually think it will happen within 10 years.

How about speakers in the bed or a tailgate that can swing open sideways? Maybe even unibody! Coil suspension? Will the innovations never cease!

I agree. That camera system that Tesla has built into their lineup is very cool. It records while parked and while driving, very useful in dealing with vandals and also idiots who decided to take their amoeba brains on the road.

most already have camera(s) for the adaptive cruise and collision avoidance. I’m sure they could tap into that.

but would you really want it? What if the footage became evidence for prosecution? If someone pulls out in front of you and you were doing 14mph over when you hit them, you might get manslaughter

 

The terminator franchise has been raped and left to die in a ditch. Ever since they 1) made John Conner fucking skynet 2) cast an ALL FEMALE heroine troop of terminator destroyers. Gimme a goddamn break. We’ve had strong female leads since before I was born. Carrie. Ripley. Sarah. There was no need to drive it home with this bullshit pandering.
