    LS1 swap with nitros.
    Another +1 for Mobil 1 and OEM filter off Amazon, and do it yourself. No way this truck is going to the dealer turds for anything.

    btw you only gave a half truth comment- OR every 12 months OR follow the severe conditions if applicable (which I believe is 5k/6 months)

    either way it really doesn’t matter how often (or not) anybody else wants to change their oil. It’s only someone else’s money (or engine) right?

    Op, I picked up some Castrol edge ep for my first. I think I liked the marketing on the bottle specifically the severe applications and 4 bulletins- good enough for me :D and the oem filter (pt# if you need it)
